• ETHN 189, The Politics of Hip Hop Culture (Ethnic Studies Dept. and Music Dept.). A research based course examining the various socio-political issues that stem from the origins of Hip Hop invested within a critical analysis of race, gender, ethnicity and identity.

• ETHN 110, Cultural Worldviews of Indigenous America (Ethnic Studies Dept.) A research style course examining various view of Indigenous identity, resistance movements, historic and contemporary views of Native cultures.

• ETHN 108, Race, Culture and Social Change (Ethnic Studies Dept. and Music Dept.). A research based course examining how race, ethnicity and culture are re/presented within America. Special attention is applied to social movements throughout the 20th/21st century that focus upon equity and socio-political justice.

• Direct, conduct, lecture and manage the Envision Conservatory Program. A performance-research based program that focused on the integration of multimedia (text, performing, visual) and critical inquiry regarding the current and future issues for the arts.
