The first in a series of virtual shorts throughout the month of November 2024.
The idea is to amplify the misinformation and racist contextualization of Native/Indigenous Peoples.
November offers an elegant position to dismantle colonial-settler discourse. These crude shorts are placed to produce a dialogue of critical inquiry about hegemony and positions of power historically institutionalized by a dominant political EuroAmerican politic.
The design of these miniatures functions as a bricolage - a Native/Indigenous virtual expression of simulation, the i/Indian icon/image - troped and signified in a container culture absent of relevance to history-contemporary Indigeneity.
